Featured in Grazia Magazine, 2010, Australian Harpers Bazaar 2011, Sheila Magazine 2011, Famous Magazine 2014 and  numerous West Australian Newspaper articles spanning 2009 – 2014, the experience and knowledge of Marnie, Perth Lash Boutique’s expert, provides you with the confidence you have made the right choice for your eyes and lashes.

Cheapest Eyelash Extensions in Perth is one area where you should not price shop – you will get EXACTLY what you pay for (just scroll below to see some price shopping – cheap – horror lashes.

Keep your price shopping to fuel prices and toilet paper. You should WANT your lash artist to be experienced, to keep her ongoing training up and be using ONLY quality products… those are not cheap to obtain therefore not cheap to receive.

When a lash technician offers ‘cheap’ lashes it means something ‘has to give’ – and it is usually by using cheapest products they can find online, minimal to limited training .. and some have had no training at all.

Perth Lash Boutique uses high-quality lashes to not only lengthen and thicken your lashes, they enhance your eyes natural beauty and your eye colour will POP!

Eyelash extensions are lightweight, they should NEVER feel heavy –  you should never feel them and they are dark enough that you look as though you are wearing mascara.

The Lash Extensions we use at Perth Lash Boutique are synthetic, single strands with a tapered tip, of different thicknesses, designed to replicate the natural lash. Lash Extensions are applied to look as natural or as glamorous as you desire, depending on the strength and health of your natural lash should be the ONLY determining factor.. The lengths of these lash strands vary, as do the thicknesses available.

We are specifically and meticulously trained to determine the correct lengths & thicknesses to use on your eyes. This is discussed & assessed before application commences.

We will only apply extensions in lengths that your natural lashes tell us they can support.

What Are VOLUME Eyelash Extensions?

Lash FAQ’s was last modified: November 27th, 2016 by Perth Lash Boutique

Perth Lash Boutique specialise in Volume eyelash extensions. They are NOT CLUSTERS. They are super fine individual extensions that are picked up (between 2 to 6 at a time) in a very specific way, and placed meticulously on ONE natural lash to create a ‘fan’. They are applied in such a delicate manner to protect and be safe for the natural lashes. Volume lashes gives a very full, longer lasting result. They can last longer between fills thanks to these the fans.

As they are so much softer and lighter in weight (FACT: 3 individual finer extensions of volume are LIGHTER than 1 thick individual extension in classic extensions) they are more gentle to the natural lash (NL).

Marnie was the first to bring Volume lashing to Perth Western Australia in September 2013, having travelled to NYC to train with Gold medalist Lash Guru Nadia Afanaseva. Marnie then hosted UK lash Guru Teresa Smith presenting Australia’s first Volume class, here in Perth, Western Australia in November 2013, before heading off for 2 years lashing VIPs in Vancouver, Canada with monthly trips to San Fransisco, California.

How Are They Put On?

Lash FAQ’s was last modified: November 27th, 2016 by Perth Lash Boutique

Lash extensions are glued onto your natural lashes with low irritant medical grade glue, individually for classic lashes (or as mentioned above in the volume technique), one by one – lash by lash- to your natural lash, never to your skin. They are applied as an extension of your natural lash. As your natural lashes shed, sporadically, they take the extensions with them. With your new lash growth, more extensions need to be re applied, hence your need for a refill appointment. The appearance of glue on your lashes should be extremely minimal, if any.

How Long Do They Last & When Should I Get Them Filled?

Lash FAQ’s was last modified: November 27th, 2016 by Perth Lash Boutique

Everyone is different, and depending on how well you look after your new lashes, and what skin products you use, health complaints, stress and medications all determine how long they may last you. If you follow the aftercare recommended for you, you should find your lashes last you quite well, with the need for refills every 4-5 or so weeks (If there are other differing factors involved your Lash Stylist will recommend your own special timetable).
Typically, Natural lashes fall out every 60 -90 days, taking the extensions with them. This is why your lash extensions should not be compared to your friends. The variance in care that each of you provide to your own extensions and you may be at the 60 day cycle while another may have a 90 day cycle, therefore no need to think “My lashes didn’t last as long as my friends”. Typically expect to lose 4 – 5 natural lashes a day.

If your lashes ‘fell off’ quite quickly, rather than shedding naturally, we must look at what went on after you left the salon. If you notice extensions come off without a small hair attached then something has come into contact with them that has disintegrated the adhesive. It is so important to follow and read the aftercare.

  • DO NOT get them wet or near steam for 24 hours – this is the number one situation that has been proven to STOP the bonding of the adhesive and they will just slide off your natural lashes. Even Crying in the first 12 hours can affect them.
  • Please note the use and recommendation of all skincare and lash products by your Lash Stylist.
  • THESE CARE METHODS ARE FOR LASH LONGEVITY and the health of your natural lashes
